R3 Ltd’s, Principal Civil Engineer, Dr Shaun Friel , has written a technical article in this year’s edition of the Road Surface Treatment Association’s Renew magazine, on pages 12-13.
The article, Predicting the Performance of Road Surfacing Products Prior to Road Trials, details R3 Ltd‘s testing service which helps support the supply chain, saving them time and money on new product development before they enter the approval process.
Located at Ulster University, R3’s Road Test Machine (RTM) can quickly predict the performance of road material products in the laboratory to help the supply chain mitigate against the risks associated with road trials.
